About Us

Claire (co-founder):

Hi! My name is Claire Lu and I am a high school junior at Woodside Priory School. I am passionate about human-centered product design and working with kids to develop their creative passions. Some of my achievements in design include receiving the gold key in the 2021 Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, the TeenInk Magazine Editor's Choice Award, and having multiple works published in the Stone Soup Magazines. I am fluent in both English and Mandarin. Some of my other interests are playing tennis and the cello. I am excited to meet and work with you all!

Gigi (co-founder):

Hey there! I'm Gigi Domine and I am a sophomore at Gunn High School. I love art as well as working with kids, and have had plenty of babysitting experience in my local community.  I also enjoy doing sports such as figure skating and gymnastics, and I love reading. Previously, Claire and I led an art class together at our middle school, and we now want to bring the curriculum outside of school and make it available for younger kids! I hope to see you soon!​

Violet (teacher): 

Hello! My name is Violet Ross and I am a junior at Woodside Priory. I love experimenting with many forms of art, from glassblowing to drawing to crochet. When I’m not trying out yet another medium, you can often find me rock climbing, acting, and singing. I hope to help kids harness their imaginations and I can't wait to meet you!

Summer (teacher):

Hi! I’m Summer Evans and I am a sophomore at Gunn High School. I love making crafts and working with kids, and have had lots of experience with babysitting and tutoring kids. I love playing sports such as soccer and waterpolo, and I also enjoy baking so you will often find me in the kitchen. Hope to see you soon!
